The Explorer Guard black ribbed aluminum hardtop for the 2012–2022 Ford Ranger double cab is a sturdy and secure solution designed to transform the pickup’s bed into a protected cargo area. Its nearly all-aluminum construction provides excellent resistance to impact, weather, and corrosion, while ensuring durability suitable for heavy-duty use, whether in a professional setting or for recreational, off-road, or all-terrain use.

This hardtop stands out for its windowless design, enhancing the security of the transported equipment and the discretion of the cargo. It features three access panels (left, right, and rear) providing convenient access to the bed’s contents. The overlapping closure system with double weatherstripping ensures effective protection against dust, rain, and wind. The integrated roof rails allow for the installation of carrying accessories, while the interior rails facilitate the layout and organization of the space. Installation is done by bolting onto the original mounting points, without drilling.
