Loading frame for bicycle rack
Extend the capacities of your carrier with Dutch Van parts ladder. The loading frame, developed and tested over the past 2 years, allows you to carry more equipment above your wheel carrier and cargo box. With this rear configuration, you make full use of the space at the rear of your van.
Above this cargo frame, you can mount the Thule Proride 598 bike carrier (in black for better aesthetics) in combination with the Thule bike arm adapter to transport your bikes. You can also carry your skis by mounting a ski rack horizontally.

Thule bike carriers also feature adapters for fatbikes. Bike and ski racks are not included.

To install this loading frame, you need the following Dutchvanparts equipment:

The loading frame rests on your spare tire on the wheel carrier. This is necessary to absorb the forces and heavy shocks (over bumps or off-road) of driving. You can only transport material on the loading frame if the spare tire supports the frame. The position of the loading frame on the loading ladder can be adjusted to suit the size of the spare tire.

The loading frame comes with a reinforcement plate for the door. This plate is mounted behind the loading ladder. This plate helps to distribute door opening and closing forces. Transporting Dutchvanparts equipment in the back of your van means you need to open and close the door with particular care. It's better to gently push the door closed than to drop or throw it.

The maximum weight of the loading frame is specified at 40KG, please take into account the specifications of the bike/ski rack you are using. The loading frame is not suitable for carrying heavy e-bikes. In the case of a lightweight e-bike that allows the battery to be removed, it can be placed on the loading frame provided the maximum weight is not exceeded.
