Description
The original Toyota connecting tube, in addition to being very bulky (exposed to shocks), has very tight bends and multiple diameter reductions, considerably slowing down gas flow. Our decatalyzers and 2/1 connecting tubes have smoother curves and a constant diameter of 50.8mm at the inlet and 60.3mm at the outlet, to create an expansion effect on gas flow. The gain in performance is significant. Although this element is compatible with the original Toyota exhaust system, it would be a shame not to couple it to our muffled intermediate and rear pipes. In fact, we've designed the FJ Cruiser's exhaust as a whole, with each part perfectly complementing the one to which it's attached, guaranteeing the best possible performance from the 4.0L V6.
