The Cooking Grid is one of the four products in the pro-ft series and can be combined with them to perfection, allowing you to try out a wide range of cooking options. What's more, you can transport and store the Cooking Grid in a Petromax cast-iron Marmite from size ft6 upwards.

Use with the pro-ft Pot Lid Holder as a barbecue
Hook the Cooking Grate onto the pro-ft Lid Support in place of the Pot Lid, and turn the assembly upside down. Then place the pro-ft charcoal tray underneath at the desired height, and you're ready to start grilling.

Use with the pro-ft Pot Lid Holder and pro-ft Charcoal Tray as a smoker
Simply place the Cooking Grate on the pro-ft Lid Support as you would for a barbecue, and place smoking chips and briquettes in the pro-ft Charcoal Tray. Then set the tray at the desired height and cover with a smoking pot.

Use with cast-iron kettles as a steaming or steaming device
Insert the Cooking Grid into a ft6 or larger pot for steaming or steaming - with no contact between the food and the bottom of the pot.
