With the Petromax Cast Iron Kouglof Mould, you can bake fluffy cakes, delicious soufflés or bread in the classic crown-shaped mould. Not only does the multi-function lid provide a high temperature for baking a cake in the open air, but it also features a pie tin function when used upside down. This clever Petromax cast-iron product with its timeless design has its place in your kitchen.

Cast iron means quality at Petromax

The excellent qualities of cast iron and the special structure of the surface make for efficient heat retention and heat conduction. Thanks to the pre-treated surface (culotte), there's no need for an initial culotte, and you can use the sturdy kouglof mold immediately. Outdoors, it can be heated with wood over a campfire, or with charcoal and briquettes. You can then hang it up easily thanks to the practical stainless steel handle with notch. The rim of the lid allows you to place embers or charcoal safely on the kouglof mold. The kouglof is heated evenly from all sides. Even in your home oven, you won't be able to do without the cast-iron pan.

Multifunctional and practical

Whether it's your favorite cake or freshly baked bread, you can bake it with ease in the Petromax Cast Iron Kouglof Mould. You can easily remove the foot-operated lid with the Petromax lid lifter. What's more, when turned upside down, the cast-iron lid is suitable not only for making pie shells, but also tasty tarts and quiches, and can even be used as a practical pan for outdoor cooking. What's more, you can use it as a dish, perfect for putting pastries on after they've been baked in the kouglof mold. After use, the mold is very easy to clean. We recommend Petromax maintenance paste for cast iron and wrought iron.
